Bolts looking to secure back to back Stanley Cup titles ahead of Game 4
MONTREAL / NHL — The Tampa Bay Lightning and Montreal Canadiens face off in Montreal for Game 6 of the 2021 Stanley Cup Final on Monday night.
The Bolts own a 3-0 lead in the series and have never lost a playoff series with such a lead. They are the 13th defending Stanley Cup champions to take a 3-0 lead in the Final.
The only team in history to overcome a 3-0 deficit at later win the Cup was the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs.
If the game goes to plan, Tampa Bay will secure their second-straight Stanley cup. It would be their third Cup in franchise history.
Lightning forward Alex Killorn is still on a day-to-day injury status ahead of Game 4.
If necessary, the Lightning will return home to Amalie Arena in Tampa for Game 5.
