
Forecast: Elsa heads north, final rounds of impacts today
As Tropical Storm Elsa moves north, the final feeder bands associated with the system will filter through Southwest Florida.
Occasional moderate to heavy downpours are expected for the region and an isolated tornado is still possible through the morning. A tornado watch is still in effect until 8 a.m. so be sure to have a way to receive weather alerts.
Heading into the afternoon, the area will take on scattered showers and storms but conditions will be gradually improving. By tonight, winds should be calm and mostly dry conditions will prevail.
Heading into tomorrow, a summerlike pattern returns with afternoon showers and storms around. Highs will return to the low 90s.
