Forecast: Scattered afternoon storms

Mostly dry to start off your Wednesday with the best chance for rain today found in the afternoon and evening. With winds out of the east-southeast, there will be plenty of moisture to work with and storms will favor coastal areas into the late afternoon. 

Temperatures will remain fairly seasonal today with highs reaching the upper 80s. At times, it will feel closer to the upper 90s as dew points remain very high.

This evening, overnight lows will fall back down into the mid 70s with mostly dry conditions expected overnight. 

We are monitoring two tropical waves in the Atlantic.

One area of interest has a low chance of development at only 10% over the next two days and 10% over the next five days.

The second area of low pressure has a high chance of development at 50% over the next two days and 70% over the next five days.
