Forecast: Warm, muggy, & dry tonight
Any showers and storms will wrap up after dark before we repeat the pattern again on Monday.
An east wind, thanks to a persistent Bermuda high, will keep showers and storms focused at the coast for the start of the week. Slightly weaker east flow will allow the sea breeze to develop during the afternoon Monday, possibly lending to more storms at the immediate coast. Either way, no sensible changes are expected in the pattern through Thursday.
By late week models hint at some drier air working over the state again which may briefly lower rain chances for Friday into next weekend. The aforementioned high may also begin to relax, which could allow for more of an onshore flow. Either way, high temperatures will stay seasonable in the low 90s over the next 7 days.NBC2 (WBBH-TV)
