Lee Health reopens visitation hours
FORT MYERS, Fla.– Lee Health announced on Friday that they will be returning to pre-COVID-19 visitation hours for non-COVID-19 patients.
Visitation hours will be open immediately from 8 AM to 8 PM. The number of visitors in a room at one time could be limited by the patient’s doctors depending on their condition. Visitation will not be allowed for COVID-19 patients, except in cases of ‘compassionate care’.
If the visit is to a compassionate care patient, Lee Health officials say gowns, gloves and hospital-supplied masks will be required.
Visitors will need to undergo a screening when they arrive at Lee Health for COVID-19 symptoms and exposure risks. Masks will be required for all visitors over the age of 2-years-old. Children under the age of 2 will not be allowed to visit.
In the OB units, only children above the age of 12 will be allowed to visit.
Movement of visitors throughout the building is still restricted to the patient they are visiting
