Moore Haven Middle High School falls victim to ‘Devious Licks’ TikTok trend

GLADES COUNTY, Fla. – Moore Haven Middle High School fell victim to TikTok trends including “Devious Licks.”

Glades County Schools posted a warning to parents on Facebook on Wednesday. “Devious Licks” is the latest TikTok trend where students are stealing things from their school and posting about them.

There is another challenge where students are taking liquid Kool-Aid drops and spraying them all over the bathroom to look like blood. Glades County school officials said Moore Haven Middle High School fell victim to both challenges.

The district said if students are caught participating in these challenges, they will be placed in the alternative learning center for a minimum of 45 days. Charges will also be filed with the Glades County Sheriff’s Office.

“We WILL NOT tolerate these actions and the complete disregard for our taxpayers’ hard-earned money to provide all students with safe and clean learning environment,” Glades County Schools said in a statement on Facebook.

Officials said not only will students be held responsible, but parents’ will also be responsible for the financial impact of fixing the damaged or stolen items.
