Naples woman wins $1 million on scratch-off ticket
NAPLES, Fla. – A Naples woman hit the jackpot winning a $1 million prize from a scratch-off lottery ticket.
69-year-old Michelle De Vincent spent $10 on ‘Cash Club’ scratch off at a Publix located at 2450 Vanderbilt Beach Road in Naples, according to Florida Lottery officials.
The game features 10 top prizes of $1 million. Vincent scratched her winning ticket and claimed one of those $1 million prizes at the Fort Myers District office, officials said.
The 69-year-old chose to take her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000.
The Publix store that sold the winning ticket will get a $2,000 bonus commission from the Florida Lottery.
Florida Lottery games have paid more than $75.6 billion in prizes and made more than 3,000 millionaires while sending nearly 900,000 students to college through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, according to Florida Lottery officials.
