One dead in shooting at Fort Myers apartment complex
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Detectives are investigating after one person was found shot to death at a Fort Myers apartment complex Saturday night.
Around 10:22 p.m. deputies responded to the Forestwood Apartments on Brantley Road and found a man who had been shot and killed in the parking lot, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
The Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and detectives are currently interviewing those involved, deputies said.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
