Plane crashes near Alligator Alley in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A plane went down near Interstate 75 in Collier County, officials said.

Two people were on board the single-engine plane that crashed two miles south of I-75 near mile marker 55, according to Greater Naples Fire Rescue officials.

Rescue crews with the Greater Naples Fire Rescue, Collier County Sheriff’s Office and Collier County EMS are responding.

No injuries have been reported.
