Abandoned dogs found near Clewiston canal with zip ties on their tails

CLEWISTON, Fla.– A good Samaritan makes a disturbing discovery in Clewiston after finding five dogs abandoned near a canal on Wednesday morning. Jamie Wright and Amanda Nelson, who work for the Clewiston Animal Control, said they rushed to Evergreen and Art Lawrence roads in a rural part of Clewiston searching for the puppies. “They dumped a bag of puppy chow and that was it. Clewiston High School teacher’s discovery leads to fitting memorial for fallen hero

CLEWISTON, Fla. – Crystal Drake was working as a substitute teacher inside a classroom at Clewiston High School when an old plaque caught her attention.  The plaque was a memorial for Lee Ford, who graduated from the school in 1966. One dead after crash involving semi in Clewiston

CLEWISTON, Fla. – One person died in a crash involving a semi-truck in Clewiston on Thursday. The crash involving a car and the semi happened on Flaghole Road and US 27, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers are reporting that there was a complete roadblock on Flaghole Road. Kids found shot outside Clewiston Subway, 4-year-old killed

CLEWISTON, Fla.– Two young kids were found shot inside a car outside of a Subway restaurant off Berner Road. The Clewiston Police Department received a call about the incident around 2:45 pm on Friday. Both siblings, a 4-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, were rushed to Hendry Regional Hospital. CLEWISTON, Fla. – A local woman has died and three others were injured in a shooting at the Brown Sugar Festival in Clewiston Saturday night, according to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office. Unfortunately, he messed with the wrong chill zone, jumping into a Clewiston pool — where humans, not gators, swim.
