MONROE COUNTY, Fla. — Nine people are missing in the waters south of Key West after Tropical Storm Elsa passed by on Tuesday, officials said. At least 15 people were rescued on Tuesday, the United States Coast Guard announced in a tweet. SANIBEL, Fla. – A man was injured after a boat crash west of Sanibel Island on Thursday. The Coast Guard confirmed a helicopter air crew medevaced an 83-year-old man after two boats crashed just 30 miles west of the island. ORAN, Algeria / CNN — Algerian authorities have seized half a ton of cocaine that was found floating off the country’s coast, after fishermen in the area raised the alarm. The fishermen found and reported suspicious bags floating in the water near Oran, a port city in the North African country, on Saturday night, according to a press release from Algeria’s Ministry of Defense.
