COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A new 112,000-square-foot Amazon facility in Collier County has officially opened its doors. It’s called an Intermediate Transfer Point. Wounded Warriors organization accuses City of Naples of discrimination

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla – Wounded Warriors of Collier County is suing the City of Naples claiming they are discriminating under the Fair Housing Act in regards to their Alpha House in Riverpark East.  The Alpha House currently houses four veterans as they get the treatment, counseling, and career guidance to get back on their feet.  Vice President of Wounded Warriors Collier County Diego Gil is hoping to help more homeless veterans in Collier County.  “The need is there. COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — School may be out, but that doesn’t mean school resource officers are taking a break. Monday, June 14, kicked off the first week of the month and a half Collier County Sheriff’s Office “Summerfest” program. COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.– A Collier County woman was arrested after a man called 911 and said she threatened him with a gun on the road. The victim told deputies Bianca Cetoutes was driving recklessly. When they both approached an intersection off Santa Barbara Boulevard, she allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at him. He told deputies she threatened to kill him and shoot him the the face. Driver seriously injured after dump truck flips on SR 82 in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A driver was seriously injured after a dump truck hauling gravel flipped on SR 82 in Collier County Thursday morning. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed SR 82 is closed in both directions near Gator Slough Road due to the rollover crash. Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and said troopers believe the dump truck was the one vehicle involved. Collier officials urging the use of bear-resistant trash cans as populations grow

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Bears are on the move and have appeared all over Southwest Florida this week. Florida’s black bear population continues to grow. There are an estimated 1,000 bears in South Florida living in the conservation areas of Big Cypress National Preserve and Everglades National Park, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Plane crashes near Alligator Alley in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A plane went down near Interstate 75 in Collier County, officials said. Two people were on board the single-engine plane that crashed two miles south of I-75 near mile marker 55, according to Greater Naples Fire Rescue officials. ‘Kid Cancer’ graffiti sightings continue in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Over the past two weeks, four areas across Collier County have reported seeing “Cancer” spray-painted on a surface. The latest instance was outside the Golden Gate Traffic and Driving School off of Golden Gate Parkway Tuesday night.  Owner, Joe Rivera noticed it after seeing NBC2’s report that night, as he was pulling out of the driveway behind his building. Community lends helping hand to family who lost home in Collier County brush fire

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Over a week has passed since a brush fire decimated their home and the Perez family is still picking up the pieces. “We’re sleeping and we’re just trying to piece everything back together as we go along,” Johnathan Perez said.
