Johnson & Johnson booster shot generates increased immune response, company says

CNN — Booster doses of Johnson & Johnson’s coronavirus vaccine generate a big spike in antibodies, which the body uses to protect against infection, the company reported Wednesday. People who got another dose of the J&J vaccine saw antibodies increase nine-fold higher than 28 days after the first shot, Johnson & Johnson said. HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. – Parents are getting their kids ready for the new school year with pencils, a new backpack, and, now, a COVID-19 vaccine. Lee Health president says COVID-19 patients has doubled in recent weeks

LEE COUNTY, Fla.– Lee Health’s President and CEO released a statement on COVID-19 in Southwest Florida on Wednesday. According to Dr. Larry Antonucci, the number of COVID-positive patients in their hospitals has doubled in the past few weeks. Lee Health is currently treating 60 COVID patients. Lee Health reopens visitation hours

FORT MYERS, Fla.– Lee Health announced on Friday that they will be returning to pre-COVID-19 visitation hours for non-COVID-19 patients. Visitation hours will be open immediately from 8 AM to 8 PM. The number of visitors in a room at one time could be limited by the patient’s doctors depending on their condition. Visitation will not be allowed for COVID-19 patients, except in cases of ‘compassionate care’.
