Troopers said the Fort Myers man was driving a sedan around 3 p.m. when he tried to make a right turn at the intersection of US 41 and Palm Pointe. LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Three adults and three children suffered serious injuries in a crash on Interstate 75 near the Corkscrew Exit, officials said. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol arrived to the scene of the single van crash around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. An investigation found that the 33-year-old Miami woman driving the van was heading north on I-75 towards Corkscrew Road and lost control of the vehicle, troopers said.
