LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A Fort Myers teen was arrested in connection to a violent robbery at a local apartment complex. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said 13-year-old Rajae Anderson was arrested on a robbery charge after an incident at the Lago Del Sol Apartment Complex on June 11. Rumble strips installed near Cape Coral home hit by multiple drunk drivers

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A Cape Coral woman is thanking City leaders for taking action and installing new signs and safety measures near her home on SE 20th Court.  A few weeks ago, a suspected drunk driver smashed into Laura Langone’s home and caused significant damage. Fort Myers murder suspect captured in Gainesville

FORT MYERS, Fla – A 69-year old man was arrested in Gainesville on second degree murder charges. Charles Laster is accused of killing another man during a physical fight on May 31, 2021. According to police, the victim died several days after the altercation. Laster is currently in jail in Alachua County awaiting extradition to Lee County. ENTERPRISE, Fla. – A 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy are accused of running away from a group home in Florida Tuesday night, breaking into someone’s home and shooting at deputies. Travis O’Brien, 12, and Nicole Jackson, 14, are are facing charges after they were reported missing just before 5 p.m. from Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. CAPE CORAL, Fla.– A Cape Coral family woke up in the middle of the night on Tuesday to police knocking at their door. Officers alerted the family that they believed two people were attempting to break into their vehicles. The neighbors across the street called 911 after they let their dog out to go to the bathroom. CAPE CORAL, Fla.– A family that just moved into their new Cape Coral home had their first visitor – a ‘porch pirate’. The couple moved into their SE 39th Terrace home on Sunday. FORT MYERS, Fla. – A suspected thief was scheming at a downtown Fort Myers ice cream shop. PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – Officers arrested three women during a drug bust a Punta Gorda home Wednesday morning. Gina Cooper Gina Cooper, Heather Sanders, and Taylor Fairfax were all arrested on multiple drug charges, according to the Punta Gorda Police Department. TAMPA, Fla.(AP) – A Florida man was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday after he was convicted of breaking into a marijuana grow house and killing a man with a machete, AP reports. Yuniel Sentmanat-Gonzalez, 41, was convicted late Tuesday night of first-degree felony murder, burglary of a dwelling and attempted robbery.
