FORT MYERS, Fla. – A North Fort Myers man was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison Monday for counterfeiting money.
Clayton Sullivan, 41, pled guilty on March 9 after he was found with counterfeit money and a printer during a traffic stop in Lee County, according to court documents.
On August 12, 2020 Sullivan was riding in the passenger seat of a car that was pulled over by a deputy with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies searched the car and found a printer along with several uncut sheets of counterfeit Federal Reserve notes, officials said.
