North Fort Myers man sentenced to over 2 years in prison for counterfeiting money

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A North Fort Myers man was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison Monday for counterfeiting money. Clayton Sullivan, 41, pled guilty on March 9 after he was found with counterfeit money and a printer during a traffic stop in Lee County, according to court documents. On August 12, 2020 Sullivan was riding in the passenger seat of a car that was pulled over by a deputy with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. GRAFTON, Wis.— A Wisconsin man was sentenced to three years in prison after he intentionally spoiled a box of COVID-19 vaccines. 46-year-old Steven R. Brandenburg plead guilty in February to “attempting to tamper with consumer products with reckless disregard for the risk that another person would be placed in danger of death or bodily injury”, according to a statement from the Department of Justice. Florida man caught trying to have sex with young girl in undercover sex offender sting

WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. — A 49-year-old man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for trying to coerce a child into having sex with him, officials said. James Allen Shook of Weeki Wachee will spend 20 years in federal prison, serve a life term of supervised release, and register as a sex offender, a spokesperson with the Florida Department of Justice said. DOJ: Former elementary school custodian accused of distributing child sex abuse images

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A former custodian for an elementary school in Tampa is accused is possessing and distributing images showing children being sexually abused, officials said. Charles Mark Currie, 64, of Tampa, faces up to 40 years in prison and a potential life term of supervised release, according to the Department of Justice.
