Disney parks to restart firework show in latest lifting of rules

AP — Disney announced plans to restart the firework show at both Florida and California theme parks on Tuesday. This is the companies latest move in relaxing the regulations put in place during the pandemic. The firework show will resume at the beginning of July at Walt Disney World in Florida. Disney CEO: Attendance caps are beings raised, company considers future of masks

ORLANDO, Fla. [AP] – Disney’s CEO said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s decision to ease up mask-wearing requirements for fully vaccinated people is “very big news for us.” On a conference call on Thursday, CEO Bob Chapek mentioned that there could be a change to the mandatory mask requirement at Disney parks in the near future because of the CDC’s new guidelines. “Particularly, if anybody’s been in Florida in the middle of summer with a mask on. Guests allowed to remove masks for pictures at Disney World

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Smiles will not be hidden for much longer at the happiest place on earth, Walt Disney World The company announced on its website that visitors will be able to remove their masks temporarily for outdoor photos, starting on Thursday. This comes as a change to the mask requirement that states all workers and visitors must wear masks except when they are eating or drinking. Texas man becomes first to complete run from Disneyland to Disney world

ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH)– A Texas man successfully finished a run between both Disney parks. Don Muchow, 59, is the first person to complete a run from Disneyland in California to Disney World in Florida. Muchow is an Ironman athlete. He ran more than 2,000 miles, as reported by WESH. Even though he has type one diabetes, Muchow does not allow his condition to get in the way of his dreams. He is finishing his journey by running toward the Atlantic Ocean off the Space Coast.
