Naples doctor pleads guilty for illegally prescribing strong opioids to patients
NAPLES, Fla. – A Naples doctor pleaded guilty for illegally prescribing strong opioids and adderall to patients. Gerald Abraham, 76, pleaded guilty to three counts of dispensing controlled substances for no legitimate medical purpose, The Department of Justice confirmed. He faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison on each count. According to court documents, Abraham was a licensed medical doctor practicing in Naples.
