FEMA to test emergency alert system Wednesday afternoon
WASHINGTON — If you get an odd notification on your phone, TV, or radio this afternoon, don’t fret. It’s just a test. The Federal Emergency Management Agency and Federal Communications Commission are conducting a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts today.
