LEE COUNTY, Fla. — All southbound lanes of South Tamiami Trail were shutdown as deputies responded to a crash at Limetree Park Drive early Friday morning.
A pickup truck rear ended a Florida Department of Transportation work vehicle around 1:50 a.m. on April 30.
One person was taken to the hospital, the Fire Chief for Bonita Springs Fire Rescue said.
The DOT truck that was hit had a flashing arrow and sign that read “WET PAINT” at the time it was hit.
Information about what caused the crash is not known.
