LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A Lee County man claimed a $2 million top prize from a scratch-off game with the Florida Lottery.
The Florida Lottery announced that Casey Kolaz, a 42-year-old Saint James City man, won the money from the $2,000,000 50X CASHWORD Scratch-Off game. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,760,000.00.
Kolaz purchased his winning ticket from a Circle K located at 10499 Stringfellow Road in Saint James City, according to lottery officials. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
