FORT MYERS, Fla. – A woman was arrested during a drug bust at a Fort Myers home on Wednesday. The Fort Myers Police Department said Chantai Brown, 27, was arrested for trafficking more than 10 grams of phenethylamines, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, and possession of drug equipment. Rescue crews respond to Fort Myers school bus crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. — At least one person was injured in a crash involving a school bus on Edison Avenue near Veronica S Shoemaker Avenue Friday morning, officials said. Rescue crews and officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to the scene just before 9:30 a.m. At least one person was taken into an ambulance on a stretcher. At least one injured in overnight McGregor Boulevard crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. — At least one person was hurt in a crash that temporarily shut down a portion of McGregor Boulevard overnight. Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to the scene near Sandra Drive. A single vehicle slammed into a palm tree, officers said. The driver was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital. At least 9 Fort Myers auto shops burglarized between May and June

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Nine auto dealerships and repair shops have been targeted in the West District of the City of Fort Myers between May 1 and June 1, according to police. More than 20 vehicles were burglarized and two cars were stolen. Officers arrest Fort Myers shooter as victim recovers from bullet wound

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A man was shot in the chest on South Street and Evans Avenue Tuesday just before noon, police said. The Fort Myers Police arrested Robert Junior Colon for the shooting. Colon is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to law enforcement. He will be booked into the Lee County Jail. FORT MYERS, Fla. — A man was shot and killed inside a car off of Royal Palm Avenue in Fort Myers just after midnight on Tuesday, officials said. Shot spotters in the area detected a gunshot in the area of Franklin Street and Central Avenue, police with the Fort Myers Police Department said. Officers are investigating at 2475 Central Avenue. Two arrested in Fort Myers robbery

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Two were arrested for robbing someone off of Matthew Drive in Fort Myers. Sebastian Williams, 17, and Dysean Bryant, 20, were arrested for a robbery with a firearm after a May 11 incident, according to the Fort Myers Police Department. The victim invited a friend to use medical marijuana, and the friend brought several other people with them, Fort Myers police said.
