Law enforcement is on the lookout for a dark-colored SUV that has been linked to a homicide at Maple Crest Apartments. The incident took place on July 11. Tice man arrested on armed robbery charge

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A 28-year-old Tice man was arrested in Fort Myers and faces an armed robbery charge on Thursday, officials said. Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department were dispatched to 4199 Palm Beach Boulevard after reports of a robbery rang in. The person who called 911 said two people on bikes assaulted someone, according to an arrest report. One witness told police they saw a man wearing a neon orange shirt and another wearing an army green jacket and jeans steal a victim’s cell phone, according to the report. Missing Fort Myers teen found safe in Indiana

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — A missing Fort Myers teen was found safe in Indiana, officials said. Alexander Connolly was first reported missing on June 27, according to a tweet from the Fort Myers Police Department. Connolly was found by US Marshall’s and local police officials. Arrangements are being made to reconnect him with his parents, officials said. Investigations in Fort Myers and in Indiana are ongoing to see if any crimes were committed. Drunk Fort Myers mom arrested after passing out behind the wheel with her baby in the car

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Fort Myers woman was arrested for driving under the influence with a baby in the car early Wednesday morning, officials said. Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to the intersection of Colonial Boulevard and Evans Avenue after someone reported that a woman had passed out behind the wheel.
