LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Two people in Lehigh Acres can’t get to work today because their cars were smashed against their house in an overnight crash. Some residents in a Lehigh Acres neighborhood said they were woken up by a loud crash. A man and his daughter that live on Park Road went outside to see what happened and found a car smashed up against their vehicles in the driveway. North Fort Myers man sentenced to over 2 years in prison for counterfeiting money

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A North Fort Myers man was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison Monday for counterfeiting money. Clayton Sullivan, 41, pled guilty on March 9 after he was found with counterfeit money and a printer during a traffic stop in Lee County, according to court documents. On August 12, 2020 Sullivan was riding in the passenger seat of a car that was pulled over by a deputy with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. Traffic Homicide Unit investigates Sanibel crash that left one man dead

SANIBEL, Fla. – A man was killed after crashing his car into trees off of Sanibel Captiva Road early Saturday morning. The Sanibel Police Department arrived on scene at 3:35 a.m. and found the man’s car in the trees off the side of the road. Sanibel Fire and Lee County EMS responded to assist officers. Lee County teen arrested for having cocaine, meth during traffic stop

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A Lee County teen was arrested on drug related charges during a traffic stop in North Fort Myers. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested 15-year-old Michael Justis after searching his car. During the search, deputies said they found a gun, 9.8 grams of meth, and 3.2 grams of cocaine. He was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon. LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A teen was arrested in Alabama after the Fort Myers Beach Memorial Day shooting. Jatavion Kaijal Adams Craig, 18, was arrested Thursday morning in Alabama for aggravated assault with a firearm and discharging a firearm in public. 33 neglected cattle seized by agricultural deputies in Florida
