CAYO COSTA, Fla.– The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) rescued a day-old manatee that was abandoned by her mother near Cayo Costa.
The baby, nicknamed ‘Princess Charlotte’ was brought to ZooTampa at Lowry Park to receive proper care while she grows.
Princess Charlotte is so young, she will be bottle fed by zoo staff members.
