HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A speeder in Hillsborough County who was let off with a warning decided to donate the amount that she would have been fined to a fund for a fallen deputy in Pinellas County.
The speeder was going 15 mph over the speed limit and would have been issued a $253 ticket. Deputy Kevin Baker issued her a warning instead, reported local ABC affiliate WFTS.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office posted pictures of a card and a check they received from the woman that was pulled over.
