Good Samaritan rescues teens from Caloosahatchee River near Midpoint Bridge
FORT MYERS, Fla. – A good samaritan helped rescue multiple teens from the Caloosahatchee River near the Midpoint Bridge Thursday evening. The Fort Myers Police Department responded to the area. Officers said one of the teens swam back while the others were stuck on a support beam. The teen made it to shore and ran to get help from a Fort Myers resident. Fort Myers police said the resident took their boat out and got the rest of the teens. FMPD returned the tees to their parents, and no medical attention was needed.
