NAPLES, Fla.– A Naples family was caught on camera using an ATV to drag a child on an inner tube along a drainage ditch on Wednesday night. Viviana Villegas took the video as she drove by the drainage ditch along Vanderbilt Beach Road, between Oakes Boulevard and Logan Boulevard. NAPLES, Fla. – Nesting in Naples! To celebrate Sea Turtle Nest Day a woman shared a video with NBC2 showing how they nest. The woman was walking along a Naples Beach when she spotted the nesting turtle and recorded the moment on camera. NAPLES, Fla.– A Naples solider accused of murdering his estranged wife will be arraigned on Thursday, June 17th. Raul Hernandez-Perez is accused of bludgeoning and stabbing his wife. Selena Roth’s body was found dumped in a trash can. She was killed shortly after the couples’ one-year wedding anniversary. Proposed changes at Naples Pier aim to protect pelicans

NAPLES, Fla.– Fishing regulations could soon change at the Naples Pier. The Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s Von Arx Wildlife Hospital has taken in a record number of shorebirds like pelicans, osprey, and cormorants. “Last year we had 191 pelicans come in. There’s 365 days a year. That’s almost one bird per day,” said Director Joanna Fitzgerald. This year, the hospital has already cared for 89 birds. NAPLES, Fla.– A Naples resident is fed up with people hitting their mailbox. The owner of a home on First Avenue Northwest posted a message to drivers on their mailbox. The mailbox says “Stop hitting me!” The neighbor who spotted the mailbox said there are other “colorful” signs on the property as well. Investigation into possible Naples animal fighting ring uncovers stolen truck

NAPLES, Fla. — An investigation into a possible animal fighting ring at a Naples home has turned up two stolen vehicles – One of which was stolen from nearly 100 miles away in Sarasota.  Heather Daneals’ Ford F-350 pickup truck was taken from the Sarasota Ford on May 24. Security cameras at the dealership caught the thieves in action.  “This was my dad’s truck that passed away,” said Daneals.  There was a necklace inside the truck that had a special significance to Daneals’ family. “A violin that was my dad’s ashes, like the one I’m wearing now,”...

Naples woman gets car stuck in ditch after driving on the wrong side of the road

NAPLES, Fla.– A woman drove her car into a ditch near the Shoppes of Pebblebrooke in Naples on Friday afternoon. Witnesses said the woman was driving on the wrong side of the road. When she tried to turn around, she ended up getting stuck in the mud. The driver almost hit a pole during the incident. The witness called 911 and deputies arrived to help. Naples woman arrested after fighting in apartment parking lot

NAPLES, Fla.– Collier County deputies responded to a fight at a Naples apartment complex on Monday. When law enforcement arrived to Oasis Apartments they discovered 12 people causing a disturbance in the parking lot. Jordan Eggleston was screaming and cursing at neighbors and deputies.
