A security company said it was able to hack into the popular Peloton exercise bikes and even access users’ cameras, NBC News reports.
McAfee, a computer security company, said they used a USB drive loaded with malware to hack into the internet-connected “Bike Plus” alerting to the vulnerability on the bikes.
Experts said, Pelotons in public spaces were at the highest risk of being hacked since hackers would need access to the bike.
The malware allowed the security company to access the bike’s camera, NBC News reports.
