CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.– A Charlotte County man was sentenced to eight year in prison for a drug conviction, on Monday by the State Attorney’s Office.
Robert Ward was found guilty in March for drug trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
In addition to his prison sentence, Ward will have to pay a $50,000 fine and court costs. Additionally, his drivers license will be suspended for 6 months, according to officials.
