FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — Rich Chapman is among the many vacationers who’ve visited Bowditch Point Park to cast a line.
Fort Myers Beach is a long way from his usual fishing spots in Hartford, Connecticut.
“Back home, last night, it was 27 up there,” Chapman said, laughing.
He’s more than happy to spend a week in sunny southwest Florida.
“There’s a lot of bait that runs right along this sandbar here,” Chapman said while in the water.
