Walgreens is working on updating its vaccine scheduler to allow people to schedule their Pfizer second dose within the recommended three-week period between doses.
Currently, when people schedule appointments online, second doses have automatically been scheduled to occur a minimum of 28 days after the first dose.
A Walgreens spokesperson said they carry multiple COVID-19 vaccines and this ensures no dose is administered earlier than is authorized.
