FORT MYERS, Fla.– South Trail Fire Crews responded to a paper shredding truck fire on Thursday. Officials said the paper was dumped out of the truck to remove the fuel from the active fire at Daniels Parkway. A driver called in the fire. Officials said his quick response gave crews time to extinguish the flames before it lit all the paper inside the truck. Car crashes into South Trail Fire station

FORT MYERS, Fla.– A car crashed into a South Trail Fire Station building on Friday afternoon. Fire crews are responding to the scene at 2100 Crystal Drive in Fort Myers. Officials said the driver has a medical emergency, causing the car to hit the building. The driver has been transported to the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
