Tampa man arrested for sexual battery of an 11-year-old girl who was reported missing

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)– A Tampa man was arrested for the molestation and sexual battery of an 11-year-old child. Authorities said the girl was reported missing from her home when she was last seen on March 13. She was later found safe on March 21. Law enforcement discovered that the girl had been speaking with 30-year-old Cory Hutchinson when she was missing. Their investigation revealed the two had been traveling around the state. DOJ: Former elementary school custodian accused of distributing child sex abuse images

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A former custodian for an elementary school in Tampa is accused is possessing and distributing images showing children being sexually abused, officials said. Charles Mark Currie, 64, of Tampa, faces up to 40 years in prison and a potential life term of supervised release, according to the Department of Justice. TAMPA, Fla.– Elvis Harold Reyes, 56, was sentenced to 20 years and 9 months in federal prison for mail fraud and aggravated identity theft, on Monday. According to court documents, Reyes was pretending to be an attorney, targeting undocumented immigrants from Spanish speaking countries. He has never been a licensed immigration attorney.
