LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A man stole someone’s credit card and spent over $1,400 at a local gas station and Walmart on Wednesday. Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said they are looking for the man involved in the credit card fraud and grant theft case. The suspect stole the victim’s credit card at an Olive Garden in Cape Coral. 14 large lizards worth $35K stolen from Punta Gorda reptile breeding facility

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – Fourteen large lizards were stolen from a Punta Gorda reptile facility on Monday night, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Two arrested for breaking into Lee County home under construction

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were arrested for breaking into a home that was under construction in Lee County. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Yadira Labrada Mompie, 35, and Anyel Contino, 38, were both arrested on Friday. An off-duty deputy with LCSO saw a suspicious car near Acroft Avenue and Butte Street, according to LCSO. Lehigh Acres duo caught on camera stealing home’s water system

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A Lehigh Acres duo was caught on home security cameras stealing a model home’s water system valued at $1,500. Nearly $50K in puppies stolen from Florida store

LARGO, Fla. – Police are searching for suspects who broke into a Largo business and stole 12 puppies. The thieves were caught on camera shoving the puppies in bags before running away, officials said. The combined worth of the pups is $48,700, according to the Largo Police Department. The breeds of the dogs stolen include a Siberian Husky, 2 Olde Bulldogs, 3 Poodles, 3 Yorkshire Terriers, a Boston Terrier, a French Bulldog and an English Bulldog.
