GAINESVILLE, Fla.– Virgin Galactic plans to attempt its first full crew spaceflight. The crew will have NASA-supported technology along for the ride.
The vice president of government affairs and research operations at Virgin Galactic, Sirisha Bandla, will conduct an experiment on the flight.

According to a release from NASA, Bandla will activate three plant-filled tubes to release a preservative during specific stages of the flight; before the rocket boost, before entering microgravity, and after leaving microgravity.
