WATCH: Teen reels in 8-foot shark on Vanderbilt Beach in Naples
NAPLES, Fla. – A teen reeled in an 8-foot nurse shark on Vanderbilt Beach in Naples on July 1.
18-year-old Ryan Swanson said he was on vacation with his family of five in Naples when they went fishing around 10:30 p.m.
The teen hooked the nurse shark and was able to reel it in around 1:30 a.m. after a nearly 3-hour battle, he said.
