Security warning: Microsoft PCs should be updated immediately

CNN — If you have a Microsoft computer that runs on Windows, you should install the latest update as soon as possible as researchers found a serious vulnerability in the operating system. The security flaw, known as PrintNightmare, impacts the Windows Print Spooler service. TAMPA, Fla. / NHL — The Tampa Bay Lightning are back-to-back Stanley Cup champions after Wednesday night’s 1-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens. The Bolts pulled off an electric win at home in Amalie Arena in front of thousands of fans, something that wasn’t possible during their 2020 Stanley Cup Final win due to the coronavirus. Elsa has finally lost its grip on our weather as we get back to more typical weather for early July in Southwest Florida. Expect sunny weather this morning along with plenty of warmth and humidity. Englewood resident offers deal to burglar if belongings are returned

Downed power lines at Cape Coral intersection cause thousands to lose power

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – The Cape Coral Police Department is on scene of downed power lines at the intersection of Hancock Parkway and Cultural Park Boulevard Wednesday night. All directions will be closed at the intersection for at least the next three to four hours. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area. According to an outage map from Lee County Electric Cooperative over 3,000 customers are without power as a result of the downed lines. LCEC said they are aware of the outage and will be responding. Fort Myers driver slams into FHP patrol car in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A 23-year-old Fort Myers man crashed into a Florida Highway Patrol SUV that was stopped at a red light Wednesday afternoon, according to FHP. Troopers said the Fort Myers man was driving a sedan around 3 p.m. when he tried to make a right turn at the intersection of US 41 and Palm Pointe.
